It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nevin Hiestand of Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nevin Hiestand to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hiestand and Minnie Hiestand (Gate); his wife Shirley Hiestand; and his daughter Karlynn Leeper. He is survived by: his children, Krisann Riegel (Ted) of Skiatook, Greg Hiestand (Claudia) of Greenville, Brad Hiestand (Cindy) of Rossburg and Karen Eilerman (Jim) of North Star, Ohio; his son-in-law Dennis Leeper; and his sister Betty Schamback. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren; his 36 great grandchildren.

He was just the most honest, cheery and upbeat person I have ever known. He was just a joy to be around. He worked with my sister, Gloria, at Fram for many years.
