He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bryant and Cenia Bryant (Garland); his siblings, Ingrid Coby, Esther McGraw, Brenda Owens, Stanley Bryant and Eddie L. Bryant; and his half-brothers, Bill Leddington and Ron Leddington.

He is survived by: his fiancé Asazalia Forney; his children, Buffy Lavy (Stephen) of Arcanum, Adam Bryant of Kettering, Asazalia Hawkey of Greenville and Riva Smith of Greenville; his grandchildren, Alexander Bryant, Nick Lavy (Jenna), Brett Lavy (Sierra), Breanna Lavy, Azalia Hawkey, Kaleb Hawkey, Abigail Hawkey, Korben Hawkey, Isabella Smith and Chelsea Smith; his great grandchildren, Hunter Lavy, Colton Lavy and Charlotte Lavy; his brother Elzie; his sister-in-law Nancy Bryant of Greenville; and his sisters, Mary (Kent Adams) and Debra (Mike Longo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
