She was predeceased by: her father Don Pitzer; her son Nicholas Batten; and her siblings, Mark Pitzer and Michelle Smith. She is survived by: her mother Christina Pitzer (Nicholson); her husband William Stacy; her sons, Zachary Batten (Morgan) and Gabriel Batten; her stepchildren, Karen Nora Stacy and Ryan Stacy (Brittany); her grandchildren, Maisie, Brylee and Finley; her stepchild Harper; and her sisters, Marcia Arnold (Wayne) and Susan Kolling (Jeff). She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to EverHeart Hospice, as well as the Darke County Cancer Association, for the love and care they provided Melinda and her family.
