She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Riffell and Miriam Riffell (Hall); her husband Charles Raymond Short; her grandson Christopher Short; her great grandchildren, Saoirse Chapin and Christopher Savage; her siblings, Arthur Riffell, Evangeline Hinkle (Charles) and Keith Riffell; her son-in-law Steven Chapin; and her brother-in-law William Trevan.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Short (Tina) of Arcanum, Jodi Savage (Dale) of Arcanum and Miriam Rogers of Greenville; her grandchildren, Amanda Short, Ian Savage (Charlesta), Christian Savage (Calah), Catherine Miller (David), Rozella Dickerson (Paul), Benjamin Savage, Steven Chapin (Carissa), Raymond Chapin and Anna Chavez; her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Deonna, KeLani, Kirsten, Colton, Kyler, Carson, Kohler, Kinsley, Cameron, Caiden, Cambria, Christian Jr., Brooklynn, Lauren and Samwise; her siblings, Janice Trevan and Gene Riffell (Phyllis); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Riffell and Shirley Riffell.
