She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bretz and Reba Bretz (Slick); and her husband Raymond J. "Doc" Brinley Jr.. She is survived by: her son-in-law Michael Rihm; her children, Connie Rihm, Diana Floyd (Michael) of Greenville and Steven Brinley (Kelly) of New Paris; and her sister JoAnn Mangas (Jim Bretz) of Union City, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
