He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Meyer; his great grandchild Charles Leber; and his brother Charles Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Meyer (Hunt); his children, Scott A. Meyer of Washington, Illinois and Terri L.; his son-in-law Lance Leber of Greenville; his grandchildren, Luke Leber of Greenville, Aaron, Kelley Leber of Greenville and Andrew Meyer of Normal, Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Leena Leber and Olivia Leber.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County or the Greenville American Legion Post 140.
