He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Helman and Edna Helman (Burns); his sons, Dion and Darren Helman; and his siblings, Juanita Helman, June Knouff, Norris Helman, Dale Helman and Marjorie Wick.
He is survived by: his spouse Cacilia Weinsteiger; his children, Lysle Helman Jr., Crystal Stinson (Keith) and Marty Kohlbaker (Mike); and his stepchildren, Barbara Meister, Ruthanna Leedom (Terry), Donna Sharp (Mike), Karen Price (Mike Braun), Linda Owens and Nancy Welbaum. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
