She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Young and Bertha Young; her husband Robert C. Murphy; her siblings, Robert D. Young, Jr. and Rollie Young; and her siblings-in-law, Leroy Murphy (Marilyn) and Mabel.
She is survived by: her son Patrick Murphy of Greenville; and her siblings, Elizabeth Hemmerich of New Mexico, Sondra P. Cottrell of Florida and Kevin Young (Becky) of Greenville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
