It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Schweigert (Greenville, Ohio), who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, June Smith and James McGurie; her brother Jack Young of Sandusky; and her stepmother Francis Darner (Lem Darner) of Greenville, Ohio.. She is survived by: her husband Robin L. Schweigert; her daughter Rebecca James; her son-in-law Gary James of Greenville; her granddaughters, Cheryl Palser of Springboro and Kristen Heilmann of Mason, Ohio; her great grandchildren, Claire Palser and Addison Heilmann; and her sister-in-law Jolene Kuzma of Marblehead. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Donations of children's books to the Greenville Public Library or to Hospice may be made in her memory.
