She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Burris and Mary Burris (Heckman); her husband Wayne E. Burns; and her siblings, Thurman, Kenneth Burris, Sharon Hittle and Marcella Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Tina (Mike Stump), George Elliot (Casey Illig) and Jerrod Martin Burns (Connie Mason); her grandchildren, Mason, Timothy and Thomas (Lindaann); her sister Carolyn; and her brother-in-law Emerson Petering of Arizona. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Park District or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
