He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Longfellow and Treva Longfellow (Locke); his wife Mary Jane Longfellow (Byrum); and his siblings, Floyd Longfellow, Delaphine Haines and Ruth Shuttleworth.
He is survived by: his son Todd Longfellow (Cathy) of Union City, Indiana; his grandchildren, Matthew Longfellow, Sr. of New Bremen and Laura Davis (Chris) of Goose Creek; his great grandchildren, Lily and Matthew, Jr.; and his friend Barb Garke of Versailles, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
