He was predeceased by: his father Cyrus Job; his former wife Violet "Betty" Mitchell; his son Michael Job Mitchell; his son-in-law Edward Baird; his stepdaughter Susan Peters; and his siblings, George, Paul, Bob Mitchell and Betty Brandt.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mitchell (Ford); his daughters, Marcia Shanesy (Pat) and Christy Baird; his daughter-in-law Tena Mitchell; his grandchildren, Jim Shanesy, Lori Shanesy, Sean Mitchell and Megan Mitchell-Hall (Josh); his great grandchildren, Oliver and Violet; his stepchildren, Jeff Hile and Laura Turner (Ron); his stepson-in-law Ted Peters; and his siblings, Joann Cecil, Barbara Young and Dick Mitchell. He is also survived by eight step grandchildren and ten step great grandchildren.
