He was predeceased by: his father Basil J. Burkhart; his wife Sarah Burkhart (Howard); his brother Jeffery Burkhart; and his grandparents, Sterling, Anna Burkhart, John and Margaret Taylor.
He is survived by: his mother Ava A. Burkhart (Taylor) of Greenville; his children, Breanna Burkhart of Brookville, Kadilynn Tinkham of Sidney, Adalee, Raimee and Journiee Burkhart of Greenville; his stepson Kaleb Mann of New Madison, Ohio; his sisters, Jessica Kolb (Brian) of Greenville and Kimberly Frantz of Greenville; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
