She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore L. Finnarn and Jeannie Finnarn (Kelman); her husband John Wells; and her sister Nancy F. Subler. She is survived by: her brother Theodore O. Finnarn (Holly); and her nieces and nephews, James B Subler, Jr., Shawn A. Wilson (David), Theodore O. Finnarn, Jr. (Marce), Thomas A. Finnarn (Lisa), Alexander H. Finnarn and Alison C. Finnarn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville, or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
