James David Knox Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James David Knox (Greenville, Ohio), born in Beattyville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Thomas Anderson Knox and Nora May Knox (Rose); his wife Barbara June Knox (Bowen); and his brother Joseph D. Knox of Massachusetts. He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Jill Brown (Knox); his son-in-law Eric Brown of Arcanum, Ohio; his son Daryn Knox of Oregon; his grandchildren, Niles Brown (Caitlin Kelly Brown) of Greenville and Mitch Brown of Lone Tree, Colorado.; and his sister Norma Stidham of Troy, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
