He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Hardy (Downey). He is survived by: his father Virgil Hardy; his children, Janie Steen (Hardy) of Greenville, James C. Hardy, Jr. and Carissa of Greenville; his granddaughter Lola Marie Steen; his daughter Ava Sue-Kay Steen; and his siblings, Glen Hardy, Sr. of Greenville, Beverly, Joe Cooper of Stanford, KY, Pat and Terry Walston of Lebanon, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
