He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley John McKnight and Sophia Irene McKnight (Hollinger); his brother Robert McKnight; his son-in-law David Rismiller; and his brother-in-law Jack Ullery.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Belinda Rismiller (McKnight), Scott McKnight and Colleen McKnight; his sister Virginia Ullery (McKnight) of Arizona; his sister-in-law Myrtle McKnight; and his grandchildren, Rachel Wellman (Denver), Morgan Aultman (Matthew), Sgt. Ian Rismiller (Tiffany), Emily Oliver (Craig), Elizabeth Knisely (Mike), Elijah Oliver (Ashley) and Ethan Oliver (Chelsea). He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
