He was predeceased by: his parents, Theophilus Hurd and Gladys Hurd (Clemens); and his siblings, Richard, Donald, David, James, Dean Hurd and Elizabeth Olinger.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda (Dale Dennull) and Michael Hurd (Deana Hurd); his grandchildren, Jordan, Danielle Fleming, Tyler Fleming, Carmen Hurd, Bryan, Sarah Dennull and Neal Dennull; his great grandchildren, Clarisa, Camren and Caliegh; his brother Ralph; his sister-in-law Ann Hurd; and his sisters, Edith Perkins and Gloria (Terry Buckingham). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
