He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sander and Minnie Sander (Grote); his wife Doris Jean Sander (Hughes); and his siblings, Pauline Willis (Emerson), Lester Sander (Edna), Richard Sander (Jean) and Thelma Marker.
He is survived by: his children, Frederick Sander (Sandra) of Monroe, Dr. Daryl Sander (Lynn) of Galion and Dr. Dana Caylor (Bart) of Fishers, Indiana; his grandchildren, Lauren Ledermeier (Mark), Kyle Sander, Michelle Gniazdowski (Kevin), Danielle Sander, Benjamin Caylor, Nathan Caylor, Ash Caylor and Lily Caylor; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Ledermeier, Lexi Ledermeier, Ryleigh Sander, Luke Gniazdowski, Sloane Gniazdowski, Valerie Gniazdowski and Peter Gniazdowski. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
