She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther McQueen and Goldie Stewart (Clark); her children, Randy Lawson, Odell Sloane Jr. and Stella Sloane Cook; and her brother Roger McQueen (Beverly).
She is survived by: her husband Odell Sloane; her daughter Carol Byrne (Chris Norvell); her cousin Joann Nelson; and her close friends, Geneva Davidson (Ora) and Virginia Tipton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members and friends.
