He was predeceased by: his sons, Keith Smith, Matthew James Monnin and Guy Michael Monnin; and his brothers, Dick Smith and Robert Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Smith (Scranton); his children, Lonnie Smith, Larry E. Smith, Kenneth Smith, Theresa Baker, Paul Monnin and Christine Horner; his siblings, Ronald "Pete" Smith, Barbara Hocker, Shirley Becker and Judy Force; and his close friend Steve Bucklew. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren.
