In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Donald Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Donald Richard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Heckman and Loretta Heckman (Braun); his wife Marjorie A. Bollenbacher; and his brother-in-law Walter Bollenbacher. He is survived by: his son Christopher Heckman of Greenville; and his sister Geraldine Schmackers (James). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home (1499 N Broadway St, Greenville, OH 45331). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greenville Missionary Church or the American Heart Association.
