He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick L. Canan and Mary Lou Canan (Myers); his grandparents, Sam, Mary Myers, William and Mabel Canan; and his pets, Smokey, Juelette, Brooks, Cleo, Marcelle and Wheezer.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa J. Canan (Howard); his brother-in-law Mark Howard; his cousins, Scott, Bobby, Mary Kathryn Myers, Nancy Smith and Cathy Chadeayne; his pet Lex; and his close friends, Eileen Eckstein, Ron, Mary Bonfigleo, Dave and Jan Mcclanahan.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the Shriners Hospital.
