It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford York of Greenville, Ohio, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred York and Betty York (Hyden); his son Clifford II; and his siblings, Mary (Wolfe), David, James and Troy.
He is survived by: his wife Jean York (Sponaugle); his children, Tammy Griggs, Tim York, Scott York (Heather) and Sherry Ellis (Tom); his grandchildren, Marty Dean Griggs, Daniel Griggs, Erik Griggs, Aaron York, Ashley York, Andrew York, Austin York, Alexis Livingston, Amber Ellis, Blake Ellis and Brent Ellis; and his siblings, Alice Osborn, Bill York (Patty), Sarah Dershem, Lee York, Jake York (Jodi) and Liza Cox (Wayne). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
