She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Nicholson and Gertrude Nicholson (Holgate); her husband Don Pitzer; her children, Mark Pitzer, Michelle Smith and Melinda Stacy; and her brother Kenneth Nicholson.

She is survived by: her children, Marcia, Wayne Arnold, Susan and Jeff Kolling; her son-in-law William Stacy; her grandchildren, Rachael, Mark Gray, Zachary, Morgan Batten, Gabriel Batten, Chris Langdon, Michael, Sam Arnold, Sara, Kevin Romer, Jessica, Agam Melmed and Emily Kolling; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Nicholson of England, Nancy and Marion Durham of Arizona. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren: 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Rescue Squad or American Cancer Society.
