He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Maxwell. He is survived by: his siblings, Alvin (Elizabeth Garland), Earl Garland, Ray (Carol Garland), Jerry Garland, Eddie Garland, JoAnn (Richard Perdue), Betty (AJ Yount) and Jack Garland; his nephew Nicholas Neal; and his close friends, Susan Waddel, Chester Meade, Charles Norris, Carlisa and Justin Leedom. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
