He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Overholser and Ruth Overholser (Brown); his wife Phyllis A. Overholser; his son Ben Overholser; his grandson Christopher S. Overholser; and his brothers, Richard and Larry Overholser.
He is survived by: his children, Sonnie, Bob Rhoades of Webster, Steve, Gracie Overholser of Greenville, Boo and Peggy Overholser of Bradford; his daughter-in-law Gail Overholser of Greenville; his grandchildren, Marie, Brent Carity, Carrie, Eric Behlke, Emily, Rick Clark, Niki Routt, Tyler, Keona Overholser, Mandi, Joe Zwiesler, Lydia, Jeremy Brenner, Aaron, Lindsey Overholser, Josh and Jennifer Overholser; and his sister Barbara Christner of Greenville. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
