She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Vaughn and Bernice Vaughn (Davis); and her husband Robert M. Small. She is survived by: her children, David Small (Pam) of Enon, Dan Small (Teri) of Greenville and Evelyn Small (Eric Goldman) of Salt Lake, Utah; her grandchildren, Justin Small (Jill), Tyler Small (Trish), Will Goldman, Anna Goldman, Heather Zea (Ricardo) and Angie Geus; her great grandchildren, Shane Small, Sean McMahan (Jon), Tara Eades, Theo Small, Donovan Preston (Stephanie), Cory Penkal (Haley), Hunter Penkal, Lance Preston (Kaileigh), Allie Penkel and Ricardo Zea; and her great great grandchild Cameron McMahan.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Abbottsville Cemetery (4135 OH-49, Arcanum, OH 45304).
