He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Overholser (Peters); his father-in-law A. Gale York; and his nephew Chris Overholser. He is survived by: his father Bud Overholser; his wife Gail Overholser (York); his son Josh Overholser (Jennifer); his siblings, Sonnie Rhoades (Bob), Steve Overholser (Gracie) and Stirling Bo Overholser (Peggy); his mother-in-law Donna York; and his sister-in-law Deanna Harrison (Randy).
