He was predeceased by: his sister Wendy Vaught. He is survived by: his parents, John Vaught and Judy Vaught (Rooney); his brother John MueserVaught (Amber); his niece Ava Vaught; and his aunts and uncles, Susan Rooney, Retta Maynard, Nancy Biggerstaff, Dan Rooney and Michael Rooney.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Martin's name may be made to Central Catholic High School.
