He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney G. Soards and Dorothy J. Soards; his brother Roy Soards; and his sister-in-law Stephanie Fenlon. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Soards (Uhl); his son Doug Soards (Kathy); his granddaughter McKenna; his sons, Anthony Soards and Timothy Soards (Karla); his grandchildren, Jordan and Trey; his son Jonathan Soards (Rachel); his grandchildren, Adee and Silas; his siblings-in-law, Gretchen Soards, Jerry Uhl, Brian Uhl (Becky), Ron Uhl (Shari) and Bob Fenlon; and also, Carissa, Zach, Lexie and Jorden Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
