He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hester and Retha Hester (Rosa); his siblings, Harvey Hester and Alice Cade; and his stepmother Winnie Hester.
He is survived by: his children, Wesley Hester (Mary) of Georgia and Carol Sue Hester of Georgia; and his sisters, Marlene Kissinger (Charles) of Allensburg, Linda Hughes of New Vienna, Rose Adams of Wilmington, Ann Howard of Berea, KY and Betty Osborne of Wilmington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a private funeral service will be at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Zugg officiating.
