She was predeceased by: her father Edward P. Thompson; her husband Omer Harris; her grandson Tyler Howland; her stepson David Howland; her siblings, Russ Thompson, John Tolle and Debbie Beatty; and her mother Bessie Boggs Stevens (Boggs).
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Howland (Diana) of Greenfield, Tim Howland (Jenny) of Greenfield and Bob Howland (Lorraine Detillion) of Greenfield; her stepdaughter Charlotte Tippie (Robert) of Waynesfield; her grandchildren, Ron Howland Jr., Jennifer Sheely (Michael), Kristy Tingler (Victor), Tiffany Posey (Jerrod), Travis Howland (Susan), Jena Cox (Ryan Glass), Mike Howland, Jeremy Howland (Crystal) and Maridawn Howland; her siblings, Chuck Newland (Katie) of Frankfort, Jerry Newland (Pam) of Marion, Joe Kerns of Humboldt and Annie Stein of Arizona; her brother-in-law Phill Baney of North Baltimore; and her close friend Daisy Mae Golborn. She is also survived by twenty four great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild.
