He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gunter and Jackie Wilcox Gunter; and his son Sam Gunter. He is survived by: his wife Beth Willett of Greenfield; his children, Hope Gunter of Greenfield, Hannah Gunter (Brandon Higginbotham) of Hillsboro, Hailey Sweeney (Jon Beatty) of Greenfield and Caden Gunter (Mya Penwell) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Dahlia June "Rudy", Madyson, Mackenzie Gunter and Emma Sweeney; his brother Hughie Gunter (Barb) of Mowrystown; his nephew Tyler; and his niece Ava Willett.
