It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michelle Shumate of Greenfield, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her uncle Roger O'Bryant; and her grandparents, Fred and Jackie Shumate. She is survived by: her parents, Michael Shumate and Debbie Shumate (O'Bryant); her brother Michael Shumate, II (Shannon); her nephew Freddie Moon Shumate; her grandmother Bernice O'Bryant of Greenfield; her aunt Brenda Rush of Portsmouth; and her pets, Chloe, Cordelia, Jax, Marley, River and Freya.
Due to COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the South Salem Cemetery with Pastor Mark Current officiating.
