He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gibboney and Mary Elvira Richards (Scarborough); his granddaughter Erin Whitney Richards; and his brother Robin Richards. He is survived by: his children, Samuel K. Richards (Marianne) of Saratoga Springs, UT, Brian Richards (Rosanna) of Blacklick and Michelle Mann of Greenfield; his brother Raymond Richards of Charlottesville, VA; and his sister-in-law Debbie Richards. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
