She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl C. Kerns and Virginia Mildred Kerns (Mercer); her husband Robert Lee Mottie; her children, Paul Timothy Mottie, Robert G. Mottie and Cherry Sue Ely; her siblings, Lowell Edwin Kerns, Donald Kerns and Helen Jean Cline; and her grandchildren, Dustin Mottie and Stevie Mottie, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Donald Lee Mottie (Laurel) of South Bloomfield, John Leslie Mottie (Pam) of Hillsboro, Steven Earl Mottie of Greenfield, Thomas Lowell Mottie (Jeanette) of Greenfield, Lisa Ann Grimsley (Mark) of Greenfield and Michelle Wheaton (Bill) of Greenfield; her siblings, Charles Kerns (Sharon) of Greenfield, Richard C. Kerns (Jackie) of Jamestown, Marianna Morgan of Chillicothe, Frances Mathers of Springfield and Linda Kidder (Jerry) of Virginia; and her son-in-law Bob Ely of Safety Harbor, FL. She is also survived by thirty two grandchildren; thirty eight great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren.
