She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lawrence and Florence Wilhelmina Ferneding (Fisher) of Dent, Ohio.; and her brothers, John "Jack" Ferneding, James Ferneding, Lawrence Ferneding and Richard Ferneding.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Prudhomme Moore; her children, Michelle Renée Moore Klein (Timothy) of Fairfax, VA, Joseph Charles Moore of Greenfield and Michael Jerome Moore of Elkridge, MD; her grandchildren, Lieutenant Alexander Klein, Stephen Klein, Abigail Klein, Jonathan Klein, Daniel Klein, Jessica Felix, Joshua Moore, Jaylon Moore, Jason Moore and Jolee Moore; her great grandchildren, C. J. Felix and Connor Felix; and her sister Rosalie Rice (Ferneding).
