He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Johnson and Martha Johnson (White); and his siblings, Patsy Bishop, David, Chuck, Glenn, Wendell and James Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Johnson (Eselgroth); his children, Bret Johnson (Nancy) of Greenfield, Tessa Brown of Middletown and Connie Johnson of Greenfield; and his siblings, Paul Leonard Johnson (Phyllis) of Bainbridge, Michael Johnson (Shelia) of Chillicothe and Beverly Mayo (Dan) of New Vienna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
