She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Thompson and Chloie Thompson (Marcum); her son James Thomas "Doc" Herman; and her stepsister Katherine Clawson. She is survived by: her siblings, Grace Marie Dhume of Greenfield, Carolyn Hamilton (Tom) of Houston, Texas and Mike Young (Bev) of Lancaster. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
