He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Milton Cokonougher and Mary Jo Everhart (Fout); his granddaughter Zoey Cokonougher; his grandparents, Anthony and Bertha Fout; his stepfather Stanley Norman Everhart; his parents-in-law, Roy and Helen Newman; and his close friend Granger.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Leigh Cokonougher (Newman); his sons, David John Cokonougher II of Greenfield, Darren Anthony Cokonougher (Cincinnati) and Adam John Cokonougher (Katherine) of Vidalia, Georgia; his granddaughters, Alexis, Mackenzie and Leah Cokonougher of Cincinnati; his siblings, Nancy Harewood (Phil) of Greenfield, Edward Everhart (Lee Ann) of Greenfield, Pam Carson (Bill) of Greenfield and Brenda Conaway (Gary) of Minnesota; his siblings-in-law, Mike Newman of Dayton, Steve Newman (Debby) of Chillicothe, John Newman of Kansas City, Missouri and Sharon Baxla (Russell) of Greenfield; his niece Dawn Snavely (Rob); his pet Piper; and his close friends, Jennifer, Buddy, Sadie Kennedy, Katherine Hammond and Janet Branson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins.
