She is survived by: her children, Barbara Pettiford, Carla Harris (John) of Washington, CH, Mary Pettiford-Jordan (Larry), Beatrice Cruisie (Chad), David Pettiford of Washington, CH and Kenneth (Megan); her grandchildren, Larry Jordan, Tyrae, Cedric and Jalen Pettiford; her sister-in-law Betty Winfield; and her close friend Paula Stepter. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
