She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Nichols and Rosabelle Nichols (Carter); her husband Rev. Noah M. Cox; her sons, Gary Dean and Thomas Matthew Cox; and her siblings, Luster, Albert Nichols, Frances Jacobs, Ann Hopkins and Ruth Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Surber of Greenfield and Joseph Lee Cox (Deanna) of Greenfield; her daughter-in-law Marta Lee Cox of Greenfield; her grandchildren, Melissa Sponcil (Ray) of Greenfield, Zach Cox (Rebecca) of Greenfield, Johanna Barr (Jonathan) of Greenfield and Jocelyn Cox of Greenfield; her great grandchildren, Brock Dean, Brady Cox, Jonathan Barr Jr., Jada Pearce-Dietrich, Cade and Noah Sponcil; and her sister-in-law Rosetta Everhart (Terri McNamara) of Greenfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
