He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Witterstaetter and Henrietta Witterstaetter; his granddaughter Patricia Ann Witterstaetter; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Witterstaetter, Carl Miller and Allen Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ann Witterstaetter; his sons, Brian Witterstaetter (Shirley), Rich Witterstaetter (Cindy) and Matthew Witterstaetter (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Owen, Jacob, Ian, Samantha, Colin, Sarah and RJ; his brothers, Steve Witterstaetter (Mary Jo), Chuck Witterstaetter, Bob Witterstaetter (Sherry) and Dan Witterstaetter; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Ann Mersch (Lou), Pam Miller, Paul Miller (Pam) and Joe Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
