She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Appelmann; her son Bill Appelmann; her brother Robert Twilling; and her parents, Lewis Twilling and Luella Twilling (Borgemenke).
She is survived by: her children, Joe Appelmann (Karen), Marian Powell (Lee), Nancy Sodd (Joe) and Linda Kirschner (Barry); her daughter-in-law Amy Arlinghaus; her grandchildren, Elyse, Joey, Stacey (Degen), Andrew Alex (Cayli), Lexi, Kaitlin, Dana, Carly, Matthew, Haley, Ethan, Isadora, Estelle, Wesley, Lucas and Rex; her brother Paul Twilling (Pat); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Haffner, Don Appelmann and George Appelmann. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
