He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Leonard Charles Toepfer and Dorine Elizabeth Toepfer. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Perry Toepfer; his sons, Anddrew "Drew" Sheldon Toepfer and Shane Perry Toepfer; and his sister Barbra Shaffer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
