It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Jay Anstead Sr. of Green Springs, Ohio, born in Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leward Anstead and Helen Anstead (Hetrick); his grandson Curtis J. Anstead III; and his brothers, William, Don, Ed and Denny Anstead.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Anstead of Green Springs, OH; his children, Barb Setzler (Dave) of Clyde, OH, Brenda Salyer (Mark) of Curtis, Robert Anstead, Sr. (Robin) of Green Springs, OH and Jason Anstead (Kristy) of Fremont, OH; his siblings, Calvin Anstead (Gladys) of Fremont, OH and Diane Linder of Fremont, OH; and his grandchildren, Nathan Setzler (Lauren), Brianne Smith, Bridgette Setzler, Melissa Hohenstein (Luke), Katie Wax (Nick), Andrew Lewis (Maryssa), Hannah Vazquez (Dan), Jenna Vaughan (Tyler), Kendra Lewis, Christopher, Dalton (Zella), Emily, Mekhi, NaKyah Anstead, Robert Anstead, Jr., Jonathan, Rachel Anstead, Dustin Yates, Skylar Anstead and Jason Anstead, Jr.. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
