With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Gent of Green Springs, Ohio, born in Kitts, Kentucky, who passed away on March 12, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. West and Ruth M. West (Sliger); her husband William "Whitey" H. Gent; and her sisters, Una, Mona, Fay and Jeanette.
She is survived by: her children, William Gent of Bowling Green, OH, Gail (John), Barb Darr (Al), Ruth Gent and Charles Gent (Michelle); her siblings, Edith English of Chandler, OK, Marie Cockrell (Paul) of Chandler, OK, Linda Bays of Chandler, OK and John West (Sheila); and her grandchildren, Melinda (Jay), Amanda (Nate), Amber (Brian), Lindsey (Chad), Ashley (Michael), Clint, Joni (Joey), Andrew and Leann. She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren.
Due to Covid, family will have a private service at a later date.
