He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Cassius and Irene Ritchie (Groom); his grandson Mark Adams; and his sisters, MaryBelle Cooley and Patricia Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo Ritchie (DeWitt); his children, Lynn Ritchie (Connie) of Mesquite, Lee Ritchie of Green Camp, Gene Ritchie (Kathi) of Mt. Gilead, Salli Swain (Gene) of Marion and Kathy Sawczyn (Michael) of Galloway; his grandchildren, Brad Ritchie (Danielle), Laurie Ritchie, Scott Ritchie (Vicki), Jason Adams (Lyndsey), Brian Scarberry, Alex, Art and Ben Sawczyn; his great grandchildren, Cole, Cody Ritchie, Brittney Ritchie, Kyle Wright, Josh, Jacob, Joelle Adams, Brooke Adams, Corbin, Claudia Ritchie, Gracie and Kassidy Ritchie; and his great great grandchildren, Bexleigh Adams, Cora Honaker and Joel Ritchie.
