It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard William Carey of Green Camp, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J. Carey of Green Camp and Lucille Mary Carey (Lauer) of Green Camp; his child Russell Jacob Carey; and his brothers, William Robert Carey and Charles H. Carey.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Carey (Kull) of Marion; his children, Deborah Lee Crawford (Jeff) of Dallas, Richard William Carey II (Lynn) of Prospect, Mary Lucile McCrary (LeValle) and Matthew Albert Carey (Susan) of Cincinnati; and his sister Ruth Ann Stoffer (Roger). He is also survived by his family and friends.
